I'm so happy to report that Gracie is taking over blogging duties at least for now. As a soon to be mother of five - ya that's right- I need help and Gracie is my go to girl. Love that girl. Thanks Grace.xoxoxo
We took the kids on a hike to a beautiful lake where we enjoyed a picnic, wading, and moose watching. We left the car at 10:30am and got back at 6:20pm. The kids did so well and no one complained! Rick and I decided we'd been on too many YW and Scout hikes with whiney kids - we want to train ours early. 
Chicken Farming...yep we have chickens. The boys are obsessed with them. Drew lets them out and tries to catch them for fun. Adam shouts orders at them, stuffs sticks thru the netting of their coop, and feeds them pretty constantly. Em gathers the eggs. We get five a day.
On Adam's actual b-day we fed the ducks and geese on the greenbelt, then hit Reed's Dairy for ice cream. I have to say I know my baby. He was in heaven.
Gracie and Em did Bonneville Cheer Camp this year. They loved it and still perform their dance and cheers for anyone who will watch.
Em played coach pitch softball this year and had lots of fun. Her coach Suzanne gave all the girls funky nicknames - Em's was Elvis. Funny, but Em wasn't so sure about it at first but it got to be a joke thru the season.
This was Drew's first year of tee-ball. His first game was a little rough...I had to hold his hand around the bases kinda rough. By the middle of the second game I was so happy to see him holding back a huge grin instead of nervous tears.
Cabe and Kelsi's sealing was so special. Nic asked me if I was going to cry I just finished saying "I'm good" when the tears started. They are a darling couple and we love them so much.
Okay so this is a little out of order, but this is my fam at the Blackfoot reception.
Cabe and Kelsi each have seven siblings so they have lots of love and support.
Kelsi is a great dancer and always planned to have a dance party at her reception. She made up a dance for her and Cabe to perform to kick it off. Their performance was definately the highlight of the night.
Gracie had her birthday planned out months in advance this year. She wanted to go to the mall and lunch with friends. HUH? I thought my idea of a strawberry shortcake pinata, pin the tail on the donkey, and party hats for everyone would be a hit. Actually it was lots of fun. Love you Gracie!
